Sunny Corner Garden AWS is found in the village of Sunny Corner in a small valley at top of House in the low point of the village at an elevation of 1176m. The site is well sheltered with a hill 1215m at 0.3km almost due west and a hill 1270m at 1.2km almost due east and the land drops into a deep valley to the north. Due to the garden setting and topography the site is well sheltered from strong winds, you need to approximately double the recorded wind speeds here to get the values for exposed ground nearby. Despite being in a small valley inversions are only slight because Sunny Corner itself sits on the Great Divide at the highest point for this latitude -33d23". About 10 light snowfalls occur here per winter
